KIPCO International Inc. will be exhibiting at this year's International Tube and Pipe Trade Fair in Düsseldorf, Germany. As a manufacturer and supplier of the advanced TRI STAR Technology tube-welding systems, we will have on display a complete tricathode weld setup with controls and weldbox arrangement. Visitors to our stand will also be able to get information on the latest product range including complete tube mills, slitting lines and surface conditioning equipment. KIPCO International, Inc. is proud to announce to appointment of Mr. David van Zyl as Director of Engineering. His primary responsibilities will include Engineering and Sales Application Engineering, and he will be based in our Corporate office, located in Winter Haven, Florida. David holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Christopher Cole, President, said “David van Zyl’s appointment as Director of Engineering is a welcome addition to our team! KIPCO International, Inc. has just completed installation of a 5/16” (7.94 mm) complete Tube Mill and Welding system, for a major automotive company. The line is producing 5/16” (7.94 mm) stainless steel tubes with a wall thickness of 0.028” (0.71 mm). The mill is using the technologically advanced TRISTAR Technologies’ Bi / Tricathode Welding System and is producing tube at speeds greater than 40 feet per minute. The technology that enables such speed has been the development of TRISTAR Technology’s Multicathode welding system and weld-box design, and the use of new types of welding power supplies. TRISTAR Technologies, a member of the KIPCO Group, provides the welding and weld mill technology that enables us to achieve such speeds while also producing a quality product.
